How to Use

1. Rack Installation & Grounding

Mount the UPS into your standard 19-inch server rack enclosure using the included 2U ears and structural rack screws. Ensure the ventilation slots at the front and back of the machine are fully unobstructed to allow optimal airflow.

2. Initial Battery Balancing

Plug the UPS power cord into a commercial wall outlet. Before loading any server hardware, leave the device switched off but plugged in for at least 4 hours. This initial pass balances the internal 24V dual-battery bank up to full capacity.

3. Equipment Distribution

Connect your core server power cables into the rear output outlets. Ensure the combined drawing load of your network gear stays under the 840W ceiling.

4. Smart USB Server Sync

Run the included USB cable from the UPS port directly into your primary server’s USB slot. Configure your OS power management software to monitor the HID connection, ensuring an unattended, automated safe shutdown if an outage outlasts the battery capacity.

5. Main Power Boot
